Writing in the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, Hans Kristensen, chief of the Nuclear Information Project of the Federation of American Scientists, Matthew McKinzie of the National Resources Defense Council, and physicist and ballistic rocket master Theodore Postol presume that "Under the cover of a something else real warhead life-augmentation program," the U.S. military has immensely extended the "executing force" of its warheads to such an extent that it can "now wreck the greater part of Russia's ICBM storehouses."
