Criminal is a progression of stealth computer games in which the player plays the part of Garrett, an ace hoodlum in a dream/steampunk world taking after a cross between the Late Middle Ages and the Victorian period, with more propelled innovations mixed.

The arrangement comprises of Thief: The Dark Project (1998), Thief II: The Metal Age (2000), Thief: Deadly Shadows (2004) and Thief (2014). An extended variant of Thief: The Dark Project, titled Thief Gold, was discharged in 1999 and components three additional maps and a few bug fixes.
